Jerry Garcia - Fox-trot TH-4 Romeo Cry Baby PP 1990 - framed
Foxtrot
The original from which this lithograph was made was done in colored pencil, ink and crayon. The subject matter in this piece is small things that many children find frightening. Clowns, ghosts, elephants stomping, alligators, and spinning grasping mechanisms. It seems as though the clown and the animals have broken free at last from the ghosts of the past. The title takes its name from the inscription on the side of the clown’s cart.
This artwork is numbered and embossed by DB Artworks, a publishing company, half of which was owned by Jerry Garcia.
The prints are embossed by The Art Peddler, who was Jerry Garcia's last publisher.
